Isn't there a problem with inspecting a work piece on the machine that made it?
In general this would be a problem but not with MachineEye with its breakthrough concept of prequalifying the machine tool prior to a production run.
Does MachineEye need calibration?
When used for video set up it is important that the crosshairs coincide with the axes of the spindle. MachineEye is factory prealigned for this purpose.
How long can I use MachineEye before I have to recharge the battery pack?
Around 4 hours.
How is the illuminator powered?
Just plug it in the receptacle marked with a lightbulb icon on the side of the battery cover.
